Keyless


Macro photography is hard. This was the best result of many attempts at getting a very close macro shot of this item. In the process, I've realized the importance of several things when it comes to macro shots:
1. The more light sources you have (including a macro flash that encircles the camera lens) the better.
2. It's very important to know how to adjust your white balance, and
3. Sometimes color is only a distraction.

This picture is one that is probably better appreciated by looking at the full-size version (click on it to see that).
